Nova Scotia Nominee Program

The NSNP allows an applicant family to move to NS on a Work Permit, and run a local business for 1 year before applying for nomination and permanent residence status. Applicants must have a net worth of at least CAD $600,000, and be able to prove that it was earned legally (loans and gifts are acceptable). The applicant must be minimum age 21, have completed grade 12 education, have minimum 3 years of recent business ownership experience (min. 33.3% ownership) or 5 years of senior management experience (in the past 10 years), invest CAD $150,000 in a local business, and possess basic proficiency in English or French (CLB 5). The NS Government draws Work Permit clients from the EOI pool, and invites those clients to apply. We have strategies to maximize EOI scores for its clients and, as a result, our clients have higher overall scores and a greater likelihood of selection.
